Wonder

In Spring 2021, still knee-deep in the pandemic, Infinite Arts was formed. Our little team of three dreamt of starting a theatre company that would one day thrive. With these lofty aspirations, never truly having worked together, in the midst of the limiting rules and regulations of that time, we did what, now looking back, seems astonishing – we wrote an original musical. None of us had ever written at that level or in that style, but our hearts were eager to create. So, along with a cast who had mostly never performed on a stage in their lives, over the course of only 4 months, our team wrote, produced, rehearsed, and eventually performed an original musical set in the familiar world of Alice in Wonderland.

In our sequel to the famous work, we meet Alex, a modern girl, who is led down the rabbit hole, not knowing she is actually the missing daughter of the Queen of Hearts. We revisit Wonderland and its quirky characters, but soon discover that all is not right. The evil Cheshire Cat has secretly put a spell of growing madness on the land and its queen. It’s up to Alex (with help from her friends) to break this spell and restore the Wonder to Wonderland…
